Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Admission Test
KUUMAT is based on the following assessment domains
Both Nepalese and Non-Nepalese nationals with a +2 Intermediate degree or equivalent are eligible to apply. You must have at least 50% in aggregate or a CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 recognized by KU
The Bachelor’s program is for 4 years – however, those waiting for their +2 results with the minimum requirement mentioned above (in Grade XI) can also secure a conditional admission subject to maintaining the same criterion mentioned in the final Grade XII result.
The total test fee is NPR. 800. NPR. 300 is to be paid while accepting the application form and the remaining is to be paid during submission of the form. The payment has to be made at the KUSOM reception during office hours.
The test is valid for the current intake only.
There is a negative marking of 0.25 point for each incorrect answer and 1 point for each correct answer. Calculators are allowed during the test.
Classes are conducted for 6 – 8 weeks depending on the student capability; Additional ‘Booster’ classes provided on weekends – Saturdays and Sundays. Regular classes are held from Monday through Friday. Tests are taken every Sunday to track individual progress of the students.
